BPCL Recruitment 2022: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the profile of R and D Professionals in Carbon Capture and Utilization and Green Hydrogen for a period of 1 year. The posting will be at BPCL’s Corporate R&D Centre (CRDC) in Greater Noida. The upper age limit to apply for BPCL recruitment 2022 is 35 years. Candidates applying for BPCL recruitment 2022 will be given a monthly remuneration of up to Rs. 200000.

Candidates will be shortlisted (on the basis of the number of years of relevant work experience/educational qualification, number of patents (wherever applicable)/publications in high-impact journals, etc). Written/Computer Based Test, Case-Based Discussions, Group Tasks, and Personal Interviews will be held for shortlisted candidates.

Note- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

As per the official notification of BPCL recruitment 2022, applications are invited for R and D professionals in Carbon Capture and Utilization and Green Hydrogen.

The posting will be at BPCL’s Corporate R&D Centre (CRDC) in Greater Noida.

Tenure- The appointment is for a period of 1 year from the date of joining (extendable in case of non-satisfactory performance). Upon successfully completing the probation period, the candidate will be considered for confirmation as per company policy.

Age Limit for BPCL Recruitment 2022:

The upper age limit to apply for BPCL recruitment 2022 is 35 years. 

The maximum age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC & ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and 10 years for PwBD candidates.

The maximum age limit is relaxed by 5 years for candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between01.01.1980 and 31.12.1989.

Remuneration for BPCL Recruitment 2022:

JG A1 (equivalent to E2 in DPE pay level)- Rs. 50000 – Rs. 160000 (19.16 lakhs per annum).

JG A2 (equivalent to E3 in DPE pay level)- Rs. 60000 – Rs. 180000 and will be 22.70 lakhs per annum.

JG B (equivalent to E4 in DPE pay level)- Rs. 70000 – Rs. 200000 (27.50 lakhs per annum).

Qualification for BPCL Recruitment 2022:

For Carbon Capture and Utilization-

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Material Science & Engineering.
  • The candidate should have secured a minimum of 65% marks (aggregate marks of all semesters/years) in all Graduate and Postgraduate degree examinations, relaxed to 55% for SC/ST/PWD.

Experience- Minimum 1 year of research experience from reputed national or international laboratories in CO2 separation and utilization.

For Green Hydrogen-

  • Ph.D. degree in Electrochemical Engineering/Material Science & Engineering or closely related fields with a specialization in Green Hydrogen Technologies.
  • The candidate should have secured a minimum of 65% marks (aggregate marks of all semesters/years) in all Graduate and Postgraduate degree examinations, relaxed to 55% for SC/ST/PWD.

Experience- Minimum 1 year of hands-on research experience in the areas of green hydrogen energy systems such as electrolyzers, fuel cells, and hydrogen storage.

Note- Teaching Experience will not be considered relevant work experience.

Research Work carried out during the course of acquiring a Ph.D. will not be considered relevant work experience.

Selection Procedure for BPCL Recruitment 2022:

i. The multi-stage selection process may comprise various shortlisting tools like Application Screening (on the basis of the number of years of relevant work experience/educational qualification, number of patents (wherever applicable)/ publications in high-impact journals, etc.), Written/Computer Based Test, Case-Based Discussion, Group Task, Personal Interview, etc. The selection process adopted will depend on the number of applications received.

ii. The provisional selection of the candidate will be based on parameters, such as Relevant work experience, Significant on-the-job achievements, Performance in Case-Based. Discussions/Group Tasks, Personal Interview/s, etc.

iii. Please note that application for this profile and participation in any stage of recruitment i.e., Written /Computer Based Test/Case Based Discussion/Personal Interviews/any other tests/Pre-Employment medical examination, etc., does not confer any right to an individual for employment with BPCL.

As per the official notification of BPCL Recruitment 2022 , interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply through the official website of BPCL. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. The application form’s email id and mobile number should remain valid for at least one year. All the details will be intimated through the mail and registered mobile number.

The last date for submitting the application form is 31st December 2022 till 12 pm. Applications received after the due date or incomplete applications will be rejected.
