CBI Recruitment 2022: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has invited Applications from Experienced Candidates fulfilling Eligibility for the Post Deputy Advisor (Banking) on Deputation. Among the competent Candidates, those who deem to having met the Eligible specific to Deputy Advisor (Banking) on Deputation may apply according to the Instructions furnished in the Appended Recruitment Notification.

Modality of Application: The Officers should apply through Proper Channel and attach the Prescribed Testimonials together with their respective Applications and Certification by the Employer/Cadre Controlling Authority altogether enclosed into an Envelope superscripted “Application for the Post Deputy Advisor (Banking) before submission through Registered Post with Acknowledgement Due/Speed Post in the Central Bureau of Investigation, Head Office, New Delhi.

i) Cadre Clearance Certificate; ii) Vigilance Clearance; iii) Integrity Certificate signed by an Officer not below the rank of Deputy Secretary/Director to the Government of India; iv) Major/Minor Penalty Statement during the Past Ten (10) Years and v) Confidential Report (CR) Dossier of Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs)/Annual Performance Assessment Reports (APARs) of preceding Five/Six Years duly countersigned with Seal Attestation on each Page of the by the Officer Not Below the Rank of an Under-Secretary to the Government of India are also required to be sent with the Application. If for some reason, the Officer’s ACRs/APARs have not been written for a Particular Year or a Part of a Year and, A ‘No Report Certificate’ (NRC) is also needed to be sent.

Selection Criteria: Such Candidates having Practical Working Knowledge of Banking Transactions, especially of different sorts of Loans and Credit Facilities are likely to be considered for Shortlisting. The Candidates would be called for Viva-voce together with the Testimonials sought by the Central Bureau of Investigation.

Terms and Tenure of Services: The Period of Deputation including the Period of Deputation in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in the same or any other Organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not Exceed 04 Years.

Engagement of the Officer appointed as Deputy Manager (Banking) would remain on a Full-Time Basis. After Joining He or She would not be permitted to take up any other Assignment or getting involved in doing any other Assignment or Task on Paid Basis.

Age Limit (As On the Closing 60th Date from issuance of the Vacancy Notice):

The Candidate should not Exceed (Maximum) 56 Years on the Closing Date for submission of the Applications.

Eligibility Benchmark:

The Officers under the Central Government or State Governments Or Union Territories Or Government Financial Institutions, including the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), NATIONAL BANK for Agriculture and RURAL DEVELOPMENT (NABARD), SMALL INDUSTRIES DEVELOPMENT BANK OF INDIA (SIDBI), Or Public Sector Financial Institutions (PSFI) including the Public Sector Bank (PSB)

A.i) holding Analogous Posts on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre/Department; Or the Department; Or

) with 02 Years’ Service in the Grade rendered Post Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Pay Band-2(Rs.9300 to Rs.34800) Plus Grade Pay Rs.4800 (Level 8 of Pay Matrix) or Equivalent in the Parent Cadre or Department. Or

iii) with 03 Years’ Service in the Grade rendered Post Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Pay Band-2(Rs.9300 to Rs.34800) Plus Grade Pay Rs.4600 (Level 7 of Pay Matrix) or Equivalent in the Parent Cadre or Department.

B) The Officers should also Essentially have in possession

i) Bachelor Degree from any Duly Recognized University. Or

ii) A Qualification recognized for Enrolment in the Register of Members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Or

iii) Certified Associates of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
