Health Education and Sports Society, involved in ensuring the needy have access to quality Health care, education, and sports, has called for applications from students hailing from impoverished families seeking admission in MBBS for the Dr KVR Prasad Memorial Scholarship 2022. The award will be given to the deserving students who are able to get admission to a medical college through merit but cannot afford to pay the fee due to low family incomes. It will take care of the students under graduation college fees for 4 years. The award was instituted in the memory of the founder of HCS Society, late Dr. KVR Prasad, a noted physician who served poor patients from his Sridevi Nursing Home at Sitaphalmandi.

HES Society was founded by Dr. KVR Prasad who passed away on 2nd July 2020 to aid and mentor disabled individuals to excel in the field of education, sports and help those who need access to good health care but cannot afford it. The objective of the society is to help the students who get a seat in MBBS on the basis of merit list in NEET-UG but cannot afford it due to low family income.

Benefits of HES Society Dr. KVR Prasad Memorial Scholarship

The students who have secured a merit seat through NEET UG and have a family income of less than 1 lakh per annum will get the scholarship and the award will be given to the deserving students who are eligible for admission in a medical college but cannot afford due to low family income. It will take care of the students’ undergraduate and college fees for 4 years.

Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible under the scholarship the candidate must fulfill all the criteria:

• The applicant should secure a merit seat through NEET UG.
• The family income of the applicant should be less than 1 lakh per annum.
• The applicant should be the permanent resident of India.

• The registration will start from 6th March 2022.
• The last date for registration under the scholarship is 10th March 2022.
