Applications are invited in on-line mode from eligible persons for the post of Ombudsperson under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA for engagement districts of UT of J&K as per below mentioned detail

Main Eligibility
1)The applicant must be a domicile of UT of J&K 2) The applicant must be of eminent standing and Impeccable integrity with at least Ten years of experience in public administration, law, academics, social work or management. Experience in working with people or community organization pertaining to the fields of public-administration, law, academics, social work or management is a mandatory qualification.
The candidates should not be a political party member.
The applicant must be physically active and capable of canducing field tours Inspections and visits to remate rural locations in the districts.
The Ombudsperson shall be appointed for a tenure of Rules and latest Annual Master 02 years extendable by one year based on performance appraisal or till the incumbent attains the age of 65 years whichever is earlier. There shall be no re-appointment.
Subject to any subsequent notification by the Union Territory of J&K the Ombudsperson shall be allowed compensation, In form of fee of Rs 1000/-(Rupees one Thousand only) per sitting with maximum upper mit of Rs. 20,000/-(Twenty Thousand only) per month.
